Russians have noticed a link between fidelity and the habit of wearing a wedding ring. A study by the SOKOLOV analytical center was made available to Lenta.ru.

It turns out that one in five respondents (20 percent) are convinced that love and fidelity have nothing to do with wearing a wedding ring, while 76 percent are convinced of the opposite. Among different ages, respondents between the ages of 36 and 45 are the most likely (40 percent) to believe in the connection between wearing an engagement ring and fidelity.
At the same time, 4 out of 10 Russians wear their wedding rings all the time. At the same time, every tenth respondent stopped wearing their rings because they became too small. Other reasons for refusal are inconvenience in daily use (21 percent) and divorce (15 percent).
According to the survey, a third of Russian women (33 percent) continue to wear an engagement ring after the wedding, and 18 percent of them wear it on the same finger as the wedding ring. Every second (42 percent) girl who does not have an engagement ring does not wear a wedding ring either, the release said.
