A Chinese resident found out about her husband's double life after 10 years of marriage and sued him: according to her, the man claimed to be unmarried, so she entered into a romantic relationship with him.

A woman met her 61-year-old lover online when she was 23 years old. Later they got married and decided that they would have 10 children.
"He said at least one of the children would be successful," the woman recounts.
During the 10 years of their marriage, the couple had eight children from a surrogate mother - five sons and three daughters. According to the Chinese woman's calculations, she and her husband spent more than 10 million yuan (123 million rubles) on the birth of their children. The couple raised the offspring together until the woman found out in 2023 that her husband was a bigamist and had a second wife, whom he was hiding.
The man sued his wife to get back all the property he claimed he had given her. The woman, in turn, broke off her relationship with him and began taking care of the children on her own. She also sued the husband and his family.
The Chinese woman stated that she wanted to receive alimony in the amount of 200,000 yuan (2.4 million rubles) per month, as she could not provide for her offspring on her own. In response, her ex-husband's relatives said that they were ready to raise the children on their own if she gave them up. However, the woman refused such conditions. The court has not yet made a decision on the case of the spouses.
