Woman has sleeve gastroplasty to 'not be a fat parent'

In the UK, a woman didn't want to be an obese mother and had surgery to lose 51 pounds before her wedding. The Sun reports about it.

This is reported by the Dr. Evin website.

Senna-Michelle Yushau, 31, has suffered from weight problems since she was a child. She was bullied and went on many diets, but they didn't work.

In 2015, Yushau became pregnant and weighed 112 pounds. After the birth of her child, she failed to lose weight due to postpartum depression.

"I started to seek solace in food. I couldn't drive past a McDonald's without going in, and for dinner I ate pizza and curry takeaway, all washed down with fizzy drinks," she says.

After two years, the woman was so ashamed of her condition in front of her daughter that she started going to the fitness center. She even managed to lose 13 kilograms, but soon gained them back. During the same period, the woman broke up with the father of her child.

Yushau later got back together with a former lover named David and became pregnant with him in March 2020. The stress of having two children brought back her old habits.

"However, I was determined not to be a fat parent," the woman states.

In June 2021, Yushau had a sleeve gastroplasty, an operation after which only a thin tube remains of the entire stomach. She paid ten thousand pounds sterling (1.1 million rubles) for it.

"I realized it wasn't a magic pill," the woman explains.

Recovery from the gastroplasty was difficult.

Yushau was losing weight, but her breasts were not getting smaller. Because of this, the woman suffered from back pain. In November 2021, she had breast reduction surgery for nine thousand pounds sterling (one million rubles).

By her wedding, Yushau weighed 60 pounds and received compliments from her relatives. Her daughters called her a princess. According to the woman, now she can spend time with her children fully - play with the girls and not get tired.

"Losing weight has helped me become a better mom, and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished," she emphasizes.

Earlier it was reported that in the UK, a woman spent a million rubles on weight loss because of children's fear for her life. She lost 76 kilograms thanks to a surgical reduction of the stomach.
